Obela's New Hommus Bowls
Obela saw an opportunity to expand on their current offering of dips and spreads and deliver to consumers a range of delicious new wholesome and convenient plant based solutions, Obela Hommus Bowls. As this was a new offering from Obela, the packaging needed to clearly and creatively communicate to the consumer the product concept. The product is designed to offer a wholesome new experience that excites the senses through flavourful combinations and is designed to leave you feeling good throughout the day.
AKA worked with Obela to develop a bespoke tub shape that would hold a base of their smooth creamy hommus topped with different garnishes and an overcapping lid compartment that could hold a dressing sachet, falafels and spork in the top.
The final packaging solution was a clear bowl shape tub that showcased the product and could be held easily in the hand. This was combined with a cardboard sleeve overwrap which communicated the offering through appetising product and ingredient photography. The bright variant colours on a natural wooden background ensure strong standout on shelf and link back to the Obela hommus we all know and love.
