DORITOS BITES INTO THE BISCUIT CATEGORY
PepsiCo's Doritos brand has crossed into the biscuit category with a new product called Doritos Crackers.
The corn chip brand is now playing in the 'bite-sized crackers' space with sleek black boxes of biscuits that are oven-baked rather than fried.
The cartons, which were designed by Periscope and AKA, feature embossing and raised edges around the logo and biscuit imagery.
Platypus Graphics was commissioned for the printing.
The design bring a modern edge to the category, with millennials its target audience.
