2019 has been a busy year so far for Nestlé with a variety of new product confectionery launches. We’re proud to have created the range extension designs for the Kit-Kat, Milkybar and the Allen’s Frooties portfolio in Australia as part of our ongoing collaboration with the Nestlé confectionery team.

YEAR SO FAR CHOCK-A-BLOCK WITH NESTLÈ NPD

2019 has already been a very busy year for new product confectionery launches at Nestlè with a full suite of KitKat products launched in January (KitKat Mint Whirl 170g Block, KitKat Mint Whirl 45g medium bar, KitKat Triple Choc Whirl 45g medium bar, KitKat Red Velvet 65g share bar).

Following this, in February came the combination of Milkybar with crispy Smarties in a 180g block (grocery only) and a 50g medium bar.

February also saw Allen's launch a new range of wrapped chews with the release of soft and chewy Sherbies Frootie Fruit Flavoured Chews in a 150g medium hanging bag and Sherbies Sour Fizz Chews, also in a 150g medium hanging bag. Both launches are a chew extension to the broader Allen's range of jellies, and claimed to be made with no artificial colours or flavours.

March brought the launch of a new KitKat Chunky flavour with KitKat Chunky Cookie Dough Medium bar hitting stores.

All lines will be supported with a blend of in-store and out-of-home promotions, plus a range of solutions across various media channels.

"The confectionery category is all about providing consumers with their favourite products reliably, along with regular 'new news' to keep them engaged and smiling," a Nestlè spokesperson said.
